What Hepatix is

Hepatix is a nutrition, movement and education app for adults worried about a fatty liver. Each day it offers you one small action. You choose one, you do it, and you are done for the day.

There is no daily obligation and no streak to lose. Missing a day, a week or a month breaks nothing.

Who it is for

People who have been told to eat better and move more, and were not told how. If every plan you have tried asked you to change everything at once, this one asks for one small thing instead.

Hepatix is for people 16 and over.

What you do each day

  • Open the app and read the one action it suggests.
  • Keep it, or swap it for a different one.
  • Do it, then mark it done.
  • That is the whole day.

Every 30 days you choose a new focus, such as drinks, food, or moving a little more.

What else is included

  • Explore foods: ratings for common foods, and a tool that reads a photo or a menu and rates the dishes on it. It rates the food, not you.
  • Recipes that follow the same published eating guidance.
  • An optional reminder at a time you choose. You can turn it off at any time.
  • Care Circle: a private link you can send to one person so they can cheer you on. You can revoke it whenever you want.

What it costs

  • 14 days of full access, free, with no card.
  • After that, a free tier that keeps the daily action forever.
  • If you want the paid version, it is $6.99 a month or $49.99 a year.

Because the trial takes no card, there is nothing to cancel and nothing to refund if you decide it is not for you.

Hepatix is a nutrition, movement and education app. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or change any disease or organ. It is not a substitute for care from a qualified clinician.

Hepatix makes no promise about your liver or your health. It helps you keep to the everyday food and movement habits that published guidance puts first. Always talk to your doctor about your own care.

What we are aiming for

Hepatix aims to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA across the whole product, not only on this page. This simplified page is an extra route to the same information, not a replacement for making the main pages accessible.

What this page does

  • One column of plain text, with real headings you can navigate by.
  • Nothing on this page moves, and nothing moves on its own anywhere until you ask it to.
  • The settings at the top follow you into the rest of Hepatix, so the way you set things here is the way the app stays.
  • It works at 200% zoom and on a 320 pixel wide screen.
  • Every link and button can be reached and used with a keyboard alone.
  • No information is carried by color on its own.

Known limitations

  • The photo and menu tool needs a camera or an image file, so it cannot be used without one.
  • The celebration after each action uses movement and sound. Both follow your system setting for reduced motion, and sound never plays without your device being unmuted.
  • The settings at the top need JavaScript. The page itself reads fine without it.
  • This page has not yet been tested end to end with every screen reader. If something here does not work for you, telling us is the fastest way it gets fixed.
